Chromasens' newest camera, the 3DPIXA dual 200 µm HR, is designed for high-speed 3D inspection tasks requiring a maximum field-of-view of 1400mm (55 inches).

Inspection of food products

Typical applications for this camera model include food processing, agriculture, and inspection of natural objects, as well as similar applications where a larger field of view and extremely fast speeds are required.

In addition to the inspection of food products, defects in natural materials such as wood or ceramic tiles can be precisely identified. This can be deformations, color and surface variations or size differences.

3D measuring technology with new possibilities

With its tri-linear CCD line-sensor (RGB) and its flexible CameraLink interface, the 3DPIXA dual 200μm HR camera opens up a new range of 3D measurement applications, thus helping industries to reduce scrap and the cost of manual inspection leading to a fast return-on-investment.

The ease of use is complemented by support for HALCON (MVTec), MIL (Matrox), LabVIEW (National Instruments), and Coake (SAC) software libraries, as well as Chromasens' own 3D API. This allows developers to program 3D image processing applications quickly and efficiently.

Built to thrive in tough industrial settings, the camera has a sturdy housing that measures only 220.3 x 463 x 98.5 mm for space-sensitive industrial environments.
