Every image with outstanding quality requires two things: an outstanding camera and outstanding illumination. Sufficient and homogeneous light are the requirements for a good scanning result. Only a bright, homogeneous and stable illumination allows high-quality images to be captured.

We have been working on the generation of light, light distribution and light focussing for more than 20 years. Engineers trained in light technology carry out material research for us. They evaluate new technologies and develop special production processes for optical surfaces.

State-of-the-art measurement and analysis opportunities, such as the ZEMAX optical design software, are available to them. Using these, the properties of the most varying optical systems can be calculated and optimised. Thus, customer-specific high-performance illumination for varying wavelengths, including UV, VIS and IR areas, are created in close cooperation with universities and LED manufacturers.
