Lenses for Image Capturing
The image quality of a camera is significantly determined by the lens. An imprecise optical imaging is largely due to a loss of information on the way from the original to the sensor. That way the correct choice of a suitable lens (in terms of the visual image properties such as colour defects, distortion, vignetting etc.) is stringent in the design of an image capturing system.
In many cases the applications themselves also require high-quality lenses that are often not available on the market. In such cases Chromasens develops customer-specific special lenses that are – in terms of cost and quality – optimised for the corresponding applications. These lenses can be used in many ways and are typically equipped with a fixed lens aperture and fixed focal length.
