Imaging Sensors

The engineers and scientists at Chromasens have, in many cases, been dealing with the conversion of light into corresponding signals for more than 20 years. In selective systems in particular, defects and weaknesses in the sensors are 'obvious'. The careful design or selection of suitable CCD or CMOS sensors, compiled through many measurements, are fundamental to outstanding systems.

Sensors can be described through a variety of parameters, but only experts are in a position to properly analyse and implement sensors. The system-specific parameters all go far beyond spectral behaviour, sensor-specific MTF, full-well capacity etc. Because even in today's digital world, every kind of selective sensor starts off as an analogue component that has to be well-understood in its effectiveness and its weaknesses in order to create stable, perfect results under all kinds of ambient conditions in subsequent systems.

Chromasens creates high-quality, sensor-based (camera) systems in different spectral fields.
