3D-Measuring – LED Illumination System CORONA II – Colour Line Scan Camera allPIXA
Chromasens showcase at VISION 2011 innovative solutions for industrial image capturing.
A technological highlight is a new colour 3D surface measurement system based on its self-developed, trilinear CCD line scan camera technology. The system, that can be used in a variety of areas, is based on stereoscopic capturing and supports the capturing of almost any size object. Through the fusion of high-quality line scan camera systems and state-of-the-art graphic processor technology, altitude values can be captured and displayed with the highest precision in real-time using an image correlation process.
In addition to a high-quality camera, every brilliant image also requires outstanding illumination. For this purpose Chromasens introduces the new LED illumination system CORONA II. The CORONA II illumination system was designed by Chromasens with the aim of being able to offer exceptionally homogeneous light distribution and high-performance line illumination for low-noise colour image capturing. Focussing at 60 mm and appropriate heat dissipation allow illumination strengths of up to 2.5 million lux.
The new allPIXA line scan camera from Chromasens features the latest generation in image processing technology and camera electronics. This allows the camera to increase the line frequency to a previously unattainable 110 kHz.
