As far as industrial image processing systems are concerned, there is a clear trend towards ‘colour’, which is all about ensuring a kind of colour spectral measurement that is as precise as possible. Numerous artefacts can be recognised in the analysis of colour values. Colour is increasingly being recognised as a quality feature in image evaluation and is growing to a measurable size. Complicated tasks as part of the coloured image processing require more than generating colourful pictures. As a basis for a qualified evaluation they require precise colour capturing.

Chromasens has already been working on the design of stable and measurably capable colour capturing systems for 15 years. Our concepts take into account all components of the scan system, starting with the light source via the lens and sensors to image processing. Colour management is an important part of our internal camera image processing.

With our diversified technical expertise we open colour capturing with 3, 6, 9 and 12-channel camera systems that can also be used for measuring purposes. Through cooperation with universities and the organization of technical conferences, we are continuously expanding our expertise. We make active contributions to scientific development projects and therefore contribute towards advancing research in this field.
