Chromasens - A Short History
1974
The roots of Chromasens date back to CGK Computer Gesellschaft Konstanz mbH, a SIEMENS subsidiary that specialised in document capturing and sorting systems.
1990 Entry into colour technology. Through intensive research and development the 'ScanStar' and TransStar' scanner and sorting systems were introduced.
2000
Takeover of Computer Gesellschaft Konstanz mbH by the Océ Group and renaming to Océ Document Technologies GmbH.
2004
Management buyout of Océ scan technology, Chromasens GmbH founded.
2006
DIN ISO 9001:2000 certification.
2007
Chromasens received an innovation award from Siemens AG – Industrial Solutions and Services.
2008
Creation of in-house assembly with cleanroom areas. Chromasens now has 3 redundant production locations.
2009
DIN ISO 9001:2008 certification.
2010
Extension of the business premises and expansion of the production areas at the Constance site.
2011
'Star Supplier 2011' Award for innovation from Siemens AG - Mobility Infrastructure & Logistics.
Chromasens has more than 50 employees.
Organises the annual meeting of the German Color Group.
