Chromasens Management
Markus Schnitzlein is CEO of Chromasens GmbH. He studied Physics and Mathematics at the University of Constance and received a prestigious Award by Heraeus Foundation for his investigations into thin layers by means of surface plasmons. For 10 years he hold leading positions in 'Scanning and Image Processing', first at CGK Computer Gesellschaft Konstanz mbH and then, after the takeover, at Océ Document Technologies GmbH. In 2004, together with Martin Hund, he has taken over CEO of the newly founded Chromasens GmbH as part of a management buyout. Markus Schnitzlein has been since 2004 head of the 'Spectral Modulation Light Source' research project in cooperation with the Chemnitz University of Technology.
Martin Hund is CEO of Chromasens GmbH. The engineer studied electrical engineering/communications technology at the Darmstadt University of Technology. During his time at CGK Computer Gesellschaft Konstant mbH he developed image processing boards and image processing algorithms for colour scanners. At Océ Document Technologies GmbH he was a project manager for camera systems and image processing solutions and deputy of the 'Scanning und Image Processing' department. In 2004, together with Markus Schnitzlein, he has taken over CEO of the newly founded Chromasens GmbH as part of a management buyout.
